The Masquerade

A figment of the imagination.

Something apparently seen, heard or sensed, but having no physical reality.

A ghost in a puppet.

A ghostly apparition co-existing in one's existence.

Or simply an optical illusion.

She is what, who you believe her to be.

But she prefers to be known as... the masked phantom.

Her identity shadows behind a mask, and lives in the shadow of the past of those who ask.

Those who question her femininity, are the reason she has developed social anxiety.

So she likes to keep her identity intact.

In-fact... by doing so, she hides behind a mask.

To avoid her inner and outer appearance from being attacked.

But one night, she removes her mask.

Only to reveal more masks...
