The Shadow Of Reflection

The beginning of the creation process behind the storyline (which remains unfinished) of the characters Anita Blossom (played by Axel Roger) & Kyoko Naisei (played by Conner Harrington) is/was very inspired by the movie “Black Swan” …

The idea was, Axel Roger would be telling the story of Anita Blossom…
and I, Conner Harrington, would be telling the story of Anita’s reflection - Kyoko Naisei.

The story…
Anita, a young woman starting as a freshman in her first year at Harvard University, feels she is in a constant battle with herself, as Kyoko, who has no life of her own. Therefore, she takes full control over Anita’s, and takes complete advantage of her when she is feeling most vulnerable, and descending into weakness.
Afraid of becoming lost in the shadow of her own reflection, she begins to hold a serious grudge with her self and starts doing some serious self reflecting on her own reflection.
She understands she can no longer trust herself with the people she surrounds herself with, so she bottles her emotions aside. Which consequently, births a woman she unintentionally helped create. A woman that appears to be a spitting mirror image of her...
Who is she? Kyoko Naisei.

Kyoko, is a sexy, strong, bold woman and is quite the opposite of Anita. But yet infact, quite the exact in appearance...
They're almost identical, and oftenly mistaken as twin sisters when seen together. Although, Anita hates others seeing them together... because she's convinced Kyoko is not only trying to steal her life, but also the professor she clearly has the utmost admiration for. Therefore, Anita fastly becomes extremely jealous when she believes the inspiration she is fascinated with seemingly prefers the tranquil-like spirit of Kyoko, rather than herself.

As a writer I may write from the perspective of both characters, considering I have a good sense of direction. And I've always viewed Anita as his (Dr. Romanticist) true love, the girl he was meant to be with. While Kyoko was the girl he was destined to be with.
Anita is the girl he wants, while Kyoko is the girl he inevitably needs...
